God has instructed us with the way He wants to be worshiped. I’m not given the choice to worship God a certain way based on how I feel. They took it upon themselves to come in a way that God didn’t command them to.
It’s tragic when we try to receive Gods glory instead of giving the glory to God Himself. We are to be a mirror reflection of the Lord before the world.
What God had done to Aaron’s sons was “just” so he was not to publicly mourn for his sons.
God commanded that no strong drink or wine was to be consumed when He was being served. This was commanded to discern between the holy and unholy. Aaron’s sons may have been inebriated which caused them to be wiped out. God wants your mind to be perfectly clear when you worship and serve Him.
