The celebrated Passover when they came out of Egypt in the second year in the first month. They raised up the tabernacle in the wilderness.

The “testimony” was a reference of the two tables of stone containing the Ten Commandments.

The would see the fire of God hovering over the Tabernacle at night and the cloud resting there during the day. When the cloud lifted, they would fold up the Tabernacle and carry it off. They followed the cloud until it stood still.
