Holy Bible

The word “goodly” means beautiful.

The mother of Moses was doing what Pharaoh commanded by putting the baby in the river.

Moses received strong Hebrew traditions. It’s a great example of Proverbs 22:6 which declares “train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he won’t depart from it.”

The name “Moses” means to be taken out of water.

Moses got ahead of God (He forgot to pray to the Lord) and tried to fulfill God’s will with the ability of his own flesh. The work of the spirit can never be achieved with our own flesh. We always need to look to God first.
