The population exploded in Egypt. Seventy originally came but 300 years after the death of Joseph, there were 600,000 adult males. Their population was doubling every 25 years.

Nations become strong and grow under adversity. Prosperity is a common cause of a nations decline. It’s the same thing with the church. The Roman government persecuted the church but instead of weakening, it grew!
