Walgreens has a new program rolling out on September 16, 2012 called Balance Rewards.  It’s a loyalty program that offers exclusive savings and the opportunity to earn points and instantly redeem rewards. If you sign up now, you’ll be entered into a sweepstakes to win 1 million points which is equal to $1,000!

I’m a huge Walgreens shopper and signed up for this awesome new program a few days ago. I highly recommend you sign up too! Signing up is really quick and easy.

First visit this Walgreens Balance Rewards link to sign up. Make sure to do it before September 15,2012 so you’ll be entered to win 1 million points. Imagine the fun you could have with $1,000 at Walgreens. You won’t literally get $1,000 but you can spend $1,000 from your Balance Rewards Card.

I signed up directly through the Walgreens Mobile App on my phone. It’s so easy to use. In addition to accessing members rewards, you can refill prescriptions, order photos, shop and more. I can’t tell you how many times I was without a computer and I could still accomplish what I needed to do through the Walgreens Mobile App. It’s much quicker and easier then using your computer.

Besides shopping through the app, I really enjoy the ease of refilling my prescriptions.  The app has a scanner feature and all you do is scan the barcode on your prescription. You can even set it up to text you reminders that you have a prescription that needs to be filled.

I’m really excited about the new Balance Rewards program.  Now you can earn points on your purchase and earn Register Rewards too!
