I’m sure by now that you’ve heard about the shooting in the Aurora movie Theater early this morning. The Lord has put it on my heart to remind everyone that this is why we need Jesus Christ.

The man that went in to the theater to kill people was clearly in bondage to satan. We don’t have enough strength of our own to battle the thoughts from evil (Psalm 139).  We need Jesus Christ in our life to control our minds and battle the evil ideas.

Many people suffered during this tragic event. It’s another reminder of how we don’t know when our time on earth will end. As a believer, you don’t have to be afraid. We have a place prepared for us in heaven with the author of our souls.

While we need to be praying for these families, we also need to pray for the man who did this. Yes, he does deserve punishment but we need to pray that he finds the Lord.

The world is getting worse everyday and Jesus said that it would.  Jesus put us here to bring others to Him, that should be our mission in life.  I encourage you to share the Good News of Jesus Christ with others. There are many ways to do it. You can post something on your Facebook page, Tweet about it, Email about it or just simply speak to someone in person.
