It has now been a little over 5 weeks that I’ve been on The Body Ecology Diet. I’m down 13 lbs and several inches. I didn’t actually measure myself because my main focus is to heal my anxiety. Although, it feels so good to be able to button my pants without effort :)!
I’m really excited about my progress because I’ve felt a decrease in my anxiety over the last week or so. It’s not gone but I think I’m headed in the right direction. I’m still taking Zoloft daily but it’s never really worked 100%. I can definitely feel the difference on The BED (Body Ecology Diet).
In addition to easing my anxiety a bit, I feel happier and motivated to get organized. I’ve been slowly cleaning things out of my house and I’m craving organization. I know it will take a while to get organized so I try not to overwhelm myself. I actually sat down with hubby to set our goals last week :)!
Speaking of hubby, he lost over 10 lbs already in the first two weeks. His goal is to lose some weight. I notice a complete change in his energy level since he started The BED. I’m really proud of his progress and hope he plans to stick with it.
It can take several months to see improvement with The BED. I admit that it’s hard at times, sometimes I want to shove a cookie down my throat but I know how it will make me feel. I’m currently trying to incorporate cultured vegetables into my eating habits right now. It’s a challenge but I’m willing to push myself. My mom is a pro at making the cultured veggies so I’m very thankful that she makes them for me.
