Matt Hammitt, the lead singer of Sanctus Real, just released a children’s book based on the unconditional love of Christ. The book “I Couldn’t Love You More”  is a 32 page hardcover book that is full of lovable images and lyrics from a song co-written by Jason Ingram and Matt Hammitt.

Matt wrote the song soon after his son, Bowen, was diagnosed with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome, a rare congenital defect.  Matt started expressing all his questions, emotions and feelings through song, which became an album, Every Falling Tear.  This book is based on the song, by the same name, from that album.

 Sanctus Real is an awesome Grammy nominated Christian rock band and I’ve been a fan of their music for a few years.  I remember when it was announced that Matt and his wife Sarah were having a baby boy with a heart condition and I visited their website, Bowen’s Heart to give their family support.  You can read all about their struggles through their journey on Bowen’s Heart.

The Lord has continued to bless Bowen and he his doing great! A portion of the proceeds from the book goes to the foundation the Hammitts’ have started to help parents with children who have this heart condition.  This book is available at a store near you or on Amazon for a suggested retail price of $15.99.
