The antichrist will allow Jews to rebuild the temple. The Jews will have no control over Jerusalem for 42 months. The two witnesses appear to be Jews.

The sackcloth was worn to represent the prophets mourning for the condition of the nation. The 1260 days equals three and a half prophetic years.

In Zechariah 4, a vision of the olive trees and candlesticks are given. God said He would abundantly supply His power to those who call on Him. In Revelation verse 4, it’s describing that God will supply the two witnesses with His power.

Some believe that Moses and Elijah will be the two witnesses because Elijah was able to call down fire from heaven and Moses dealt with the Pharaoh of Egypt when God sent the plagues. God also promised to send Elijah before the great day of the Lord (Malachi 4:5) and Jesus said that Elijah would come and restore all things (Matthew 17:11).

The beast could only touch them when they finished their testimonies.

Jerusalem will be so corrupt that God will call it spiritually Sodom and Egypt.

Television will make it possible to see the two dead bodies.

Gods kingdom of the world will be back in His control again.
