This is one of my favorite side dishes! It’s a recipe from my mom. Of course, hers always comes out better the mine π
Recipe: Green Beans with Bacon |
- 4 to 8 Slices of bacon (Depends on how much bacon you want)
- 6 Garlic cloves
- 1 Bag of frozen green beans
- Sat and pepper
- Cut the bacon into bite size pieces and cook them.
- Drain the oil from the pan and put the bacon to the side.
- Add the bag of green beans to the pan (You could add oil but the remaining oil from the bacon should be enough)
- Put the lid on the pan and let the green beans steam for about 5 minutes on low.
- Add the bacon to the green beans
- Mince or crush the garlic in a crusher and add to the green beans.
- Add salt and pepper to taste
- Cover and cook for 8 minutes or until green beans are soft.
The great thing about this recipe is that it’s really easy and the kids love it too!
