Holy Bible
The Hebrews author is trying to lead the baby Christians further then their first steps.

The “Heavenly Gift” is the gift of salvation (Romans 6:23; Ephesians 2:8).

When we produce “fruit”, it is evidence of our faith.

We need to allow God to mature us and produce fruit through us. If we do this, we won’t have to worry about warnings in versus (2 Peter 1:2-10).

We should work until it’s painful to do things that pertain to godliness.

Many Christians are lazy with their faith which weakens the Christian message.

Abraham was strong in his faith to God. He had to wait several years for his promised child to be born. He was strong in faith and gave glory to God. He knew God could do what he promised (Romans 4:19-21).

If we trust in Christ, we have hope of redemption through him. We no longer have to go through a priest on this earth to have access to God. The death of Jesus gives us access directly to God.

"Many Christians are lazy with their faith which weakens the Christian message" Amen! That is one reason why God must stretch our faith w/ trials and tribulations.. We indeed must walk the walk and talk the talk in order to draw others to Christ.
