People wouldn’t need to keep offering sacrifices if the Law made them perfect.
The sacrifices reminded people of their sins, their guilty conscience wasn’t cleansed by the sacrifice (Psalm 51).
God wants us to obey him, It’s more important then offering sacrifices (1 Samuel 15:22).
We are “sanctified (set apart for God)” through Jesus.
Jesus sits at the right hand of the Father waiting for God to give him ultimate victory over his enemies.
The blood of Jesus was shed for ALL of our sins. We don’t need to make offerings to obtain forgiveness.
The sacrifice of Jesus rids our guilty conscience and continues to cleanse us (Romans 8:1, 1 John 1:7).
The new covenant depends on the promises of God, not works.
As a Christian, we need to care for one another. It is important to regularly gather with other Christians to keep the body of believers developing properly.
The only sin that will condemn a man is the sin against God’s love and our salvation through the sacrifice of Jesus (Matthew 7:14, 12:31, 32, 26:39; John 10:7, 14:6).
We only need to accept the sacrifice of Jesus for our salvation.
The return of Jesus is being delayed to give everyone the opportunity to receive His salvation (2 Peter 3:3-9; James 5:7,8)
Read: Hebrews 11
