Paradise Point Resort & Spa is one of the many wonderful resorts and hotels of Destination Hotels & Resorts. It’s located in San Diego, CA and is one of our favorite resorts to take the family on vacation.
Paradise Point Resort & Spa is a private 44-acre island on Mission Bay. It’s only minutes from the heart of downtown San Diego and next to SeaWorld Adventure Park. It’s truly a unique resort that features bungalow-style guest rooms. In addition to the surroundings at this resort, I love the bungalows. You don’t have to worry about people being above you, your all on the bottom level.
There are many different bungalows to choose from, we chose the Bayside Bungalow. We love having a bay view and the sand right out in front of our room. My husband and I were able to relax and watch the kids play in the sand for hours.
The bay is beautiful and useful for making sand castles and my favorite, Smores! The resort offers so many activities, you don’t even have to leave. You can enjoy the five pools, the Fitness Center with sauna and steam room, two waterfront restaurants and the Marina with jet skis, paddle boats and more!
We took a family ride on a quadracycle all around the resort. If you plan on visiting SeaWorld, you can now cruise over there on the new SeaWorld Water Taxi. It will take you over to SeaWorld, where you’ll bypass lines and enter an exclusive back gate.
I highly recommend this resort to everyone. It’s perfect for a family vacation, honeymoon or just a relaxing getaway. They run really great specials and the longer you stay, the more you’ll save. Check out the Paradise Point Resort & Spa today to book your reservation. April 10, 2012 @ 08:24That sounds wonderful. I'd love to take the boys west, but not until our youngest is a bit older.

July 15, 2012 @ 15:41That looks like so much fun! I've never been to the West Coast, but I hope to make it there someday! I love that your bungalow was right by the bay. Waking up to a view of water is always heavenly!
