Paul refers to our bodies as “tents” (temporary housing of our spirits).

God gives us the Holy Spirit to reassure us that he will complete the redemption he started in us.

When we stand before Christ, the motivations behind our works will be evaluated. Any works done that were not in the spirit will burn away but the ones that were done in the right spirit will remain. We’ll be rewarded according to the works of the right spirit.

Many of our problems come to be because our spirit and flesh are in a battle.

We’re ambassadors for Christ. Our hearts are not part of the world, our hearts are home in heaven (Hebrews 11:13-16).
