Holy Bible

Satan knew that Jesus was God’s Son so he was trying to tempt him.

Satan tries to make the world believe that material things will fully satisfy their lives. Jesus reminds us that we have spiritual needs also.

Satan shows Jesus that the world is in his control. It will be turned over to Jesus one day.

Satan tempted Jesus to bypass God’s plan of redemption through the cross by offering him immediate fulfillment in exchange for worshiping him.

We’re not to jeopardize ourselves to prove the existence or protection of God.

The Jews were very angry with Jesus because He attacked their racism and their presumption that they’d always be God’s favored people.
