Holy Bible

The scribes and Pharisees followed the Mosaic Law from an outward observance, they neglected the inward motivations.  Jesus taught them that God looks at their hearts not their works.

The scribes and Pharisees wore phylacteries (a little box containing slips with scripture on them that tie onto the arm and forehead.) to appear more spiritual.

We’re all equal before God so we shouldn’t exalt some people above others.

God doesn’t look at what we are on the outside. He looks at our hearts.

Jesus won’t return to Israel until after the Great Tribulation days are over.
