Jesus outlines five reasons that humility is essential:

• For entrance into the kingdom.
• For greatness in the kingdom.
• To prevent offenses.
• To carry on proper discipline in the church.
• For forgiving one another.

Jesus explains that if you have a lifestyle of sinning, you need to take a drastic approach to fix it. When Jesus speaks of the “little ones”, he is speaking of both children and believers. He reiterates that God looks after them.

Jesus wants you to continue forgiving. Don’t put a limit on how many times you should do it. God doesn’t limit forgiving our sins. If we want to be forgiven for our sins, we must forgive others.
