Mark Your Calendar for “Home Run” in Theaters April 19th

Home Run the Movie

I’m so excited to share the newest inspirational movie to hit theaters, Home Run The Movie! We were able to preview this movie and the first word that comes to my mind is WOW.  As a devoted Christian, there is nothing more important then receiving Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior. It breaks my heart to see others lost and confused in life. The answer is Jesus Christ!

It seems like every way I turn people are struggling. They are trying to find the answer to all their problems and most of the time they turn to sinful things. The problem is that sin makes it worse.  The only way to get out the problems is to face them and not run for them. This movie does a phenomenal job at showing where you need to turn to be fulfilled in life. God is the missing piece in a non believers life. Once you know the Lord, your life will feel complete.

Home Run The Movie

This movie is a story of an alcoholic that had everything and almost lost it all because of his addiction. His addiction was something he would use to suppress the abuse in his young life.  Through treatment he learned that he wasn’t alone. Many people have addictions and you need help to get over it.  The enemy is on a mission to destroy everyone and addiction is one of the many ways he achieves his goal.

Home Run The Movie

It was very touching to see people hurting come to Christ.  I cried a little bit but it was happy tears.  It brings me back to the feeling I had when I came to Christ and felt complete. Everyone really enjoyed how realistic this movie was. It showed the true things people struggle with.  The quality of the movie is very professional and the cast did a great job playing their roles.  This message is one that many need to hear.

Home Run The Movie

This movie needs our help. It has such a powerful message and can change peoples lives.  Home Run wants to make it into your theater this spring but needs your help.  Visit the Home Run The Movie website and get involved in Batting 1000.

If your city has at least one 8-screen (or larger) multiplex theater and you, your church, your business, or other organization will guarantee the selling of at least 1,000 for opening weekend (April 19-21), you can have HOME RUN in your town.

You can help people in your community and church learn the life changes that come through Jesus. We are God’s people and can help open doors for others in need.

There are more ways you can help support Home Run. You can share the Home Run The Movie with your friends and follow Home Run The Movie and re-tweet their tweets. Every little bit helps and can make a huge difference in someones life.

So thankful for the movies that are faith based! I’m so tired of the only options out there hardly being suitable for adults. This sounds like a hard hitting movie and one that reminds us none of us is perfect. I hope a lot of churches get involved with bringing this movie to theaters around the states. Wouldn’t it be awesome if we just blew their socks off?!

I agree. I find it so frustrating that movies like this have trouble getting into theaters.
