Green Beans with Bacon

This is one of my favorite side dishes! It’s a recipe from my mom. Of course, hers always comes out better the mine :)

Ingredients
  • 4 to 8 Slices of bacon (Depends on how much bacon you want)
  • 6 Garlic cloves
  • 1 Bag of frozen green beans
  • Sat and pepper
Instructions
  1. Cut the bacon into bite size pieces and cook them.
  2. Drain the oil from the pan and put the bacon to the side.
  3. Add the bag of green beans to the pan (You could add oil but the remaining oil from the bacon should be enough)
  4. Put the lid on the pan and let the green beans steam for about 5 minutes on low.
  5. Add the bacon to the green beans
  6. Mince or crush the garlic in a crusher and add to the green beans.
  7. Add salt and pepper to taste
  8. Cover and cook for 8 minutes or until green beans are soft.

The great thing about this recipe is that it’s really easy and the kids love it too!
