We Helped Decorate the “Dole” Rose Parade Float!

Dole Float

A few weeks ago we had an amazing opportunity to help Dole decorate their Rose Parade float. I had never done this before and was so honored that Dole invited us to their Dole Family Day.

We arrived to the event and were greeted by the nicest people. All five of us were given a t-shirt and a few other goodies that would remind us of this amazing experience.

Dole Float

The first thing we did was check out the float.  I have to admit that I’m was pretty clueless on how all this worked. I had no idea that there would be several floats in a gigantic building. It was really neat to see several different floats all in one place. We didn’t wander much, we headed right over to the Dole Float. They had a lot done already but obviously had to wait until closer to the parade to add more.

Float Decorating

We got to help with some of the more tedious work like putting glue on a straw and rolling it in herbs.  In between decorating we were enjoying the face painting station, expresso bar, bounce house and the great food!

Rose Parade Queen

My girls were ecstatic when the Rose Parade Queen and her Court showed up. They were a sweet group of young ladies. My girls can’t wait to see them all dressed up on the big day. We also got to meet the award winning float designer Raul Rodriguez with his big beautiful Macaw Sebastian. They were all such nice people!

Dole Products

We also got to try out the new Dole Smoothie Shakers. They were really good and an easy way to achieve a true smoothie taste. At the end we were really tired but had such a blast and will always remember this special time!

Disclosure: We were provided entry into this private event free of charge. All words and opinions are my own and are not influenced by anything!
