I want to take you on a journey with me through the Bible. I think that taking the journey together will better help our understanding. We can discuss our thoughts and encourage one another to stay focused. I personally need the motivation because I constantly get distracted.

I’ve never read the entire Bible. I’ve attempted to do the “Read your Bible in a year”  thing but have never succeeded. The more I think about that system the happier I am that I didn’t complete it. I want to understand what I’m reading in my Bible. I don’t want to race through it and have no understanding.

I’m not sure what everyone’s experience is with the Bible but I sure hope we can help each other out. I’m in no position to teach the Bible, I have a lot to learn. I pray this can help some of you open your Bible. I pray that the more experienced Bible readers can help us less experienced.

I think the best way to do this is to read the scripture and share our thoughts on that scripture. I would love to do this daily but things come up in life and I don’t want anyone to feel rushed. We should try for every other day.
